I grew up on our family farm in rural Central Illinois the youngest and only girl of 8 kids. In what little spare time she had my mother always had a ripple or granny afghan in the works and the sewing machine ready to patch or work on a 4-H project.
After graduating from college I moved to Panama, Central America where I lived in the small town of Chitre on the Azuero Peninsula for 3 years. This was probably one of the most eye opening, life enriching time of my life. I learned that you absolutely can not compare people from different cultures but allow yourself to seek the beauty each has to offer.
The tragic loss of my brother was the pivotal moment that let me to focus on my family and create a business that brought happiness to not only myself but to those who order my handcrafted items. Now, after working professionally for 15 years, I'm happy to be a work at home and be a mom to two beautiful teenage girls.
Selling on line has given me the opportunity to share with the world beautiful, handcrafted items that inspire and touch people's hearts. So thank you for stopping in and if you have a question please take a moment to send me a message and I will get back with you. Take care,
